Day 1 Students will have fun learning about the culture and history of piñata making. Students will learn the basics of forming and creating the piñata shape. A 24hr drying time will be required in order to proceed. Day 2 Students will learn fun facts about piñatas and share their personal experience with piñatas. Students will use their creativity to design the piñata. On both days, students will be asked numerous questions to engage them in conversation to practice their Spanish. If a student does not finish the piñata during class, they are welcomed to continue working on it after class. Parental guidance might be needed depending on the students ability to use Scissors and glue. Day 1 is a bit messy in terms of forming the piñata with flour and water. ½ cup of flour 1 cup of water Newspaper (cut in 1" strips) Scissors Bowl Spoon Balloon (Inflated and ready to use) Tissue Paper (Dollar Tree has them for $1) Wrapped Candy of choice Glue String Tape Apron or clothes you don't mind getting dirty
