Parental Guidance
While most of the content in this class is very simple for kids to do on their own, children will need assistance from time to time when handling scissors, glue or food that needs to be microwaved or blended. We will NOT use knives, a conventional oven, or a stove in this class. When doing experiments or cooking, I recommend that you measure quantities for your children and put it in plastic cups. Please also pre-cut the fruit for them. Some recipes include peanut butter and wheat. I have listed alternatives/substitues in case your child has allergies to any of those ingredients. For practicing songs at home, I will share a Youtube link that you can use at home everyday with supurvision. However, you can also use other methods such as downloading the song or use a device for listening to the song. You Tube: I will use a sharable screen for songs. Google Docs / Acrobat reader / canva : I will attach some documents for you to download and print, such as song lyrics, printables and images that are necessary for crafts. Kahoot/ Quizlet: It is not required that you create an account. You will use a code to participate in the activity. I will share the link previous to the class. Hoopla / Amazon prime: Occasianally, I will use a sharable screen for Story Time. Giftcuriosity: I will use a sharable screen for experiments. Duolingo: From time to time we will use this page so students who read can practice their skills.
