In this class students will get a chance to practice basic conversational Spanish. This is a reinforcement for those that have some knowledge of conversational Spanish. The class is kept small for the purpose of allotting fair time to each learner with an emphasis on quality learner interaction and participation. Toys, props and story cards will be used for visual aids. Students will have the opportunity to ask questions and repeat new words and phrases. This is a class that encourages learners to read and speak in Spanish. This class will teach the nuances of Spanish for example is it "vámonos" or is it "vamos" which are similar words but with different intentions. Vamos a la tienda - let's go to the store. Vamonos de aqui - let's get out of here. This is a class that is offered to Learners that have previously taken my one time classes and are looking for a more advanced class that will offer steady progression and introduction to new words and themes. Such as but not limited to: greetings, numbers, names of animals, names of food items, days of the week, months of the year, colors, introduction to the abcs and phonetic reading of stories. classes will be adjusted for the learners capabilities and strengths in order to achieve a positive mindset and enhance learning. The class offers confidence building in a fun and encouraging environment. Learners are encouraged to ask questions and to bring any previous Spanish homework or lessons. Previous class participation from some of my one time classes if recommended in order for me to evaluate and offer a suitable class for learner. *****Small homeschool groups welcomed, 15% discounting available for groups of 4 or more, 20% for groups of 6 or more *****Parents be aware Spanish assigns grammatical gender to adjectives and determiners this is due to way Spanish has evolved from Latin.
