Hola! In this ongoing Spanish beginner course, Students will learn Spanish by singing, playing games and or completing different activities. We will meet meet once a week as we learn the basics of the Spanish language. Every week we will focus on a new and exciting topic. We will learn and practice basic Spanish greetings that students can use when saying Hello and goodbye. Every class students will introduce themselves in a sentence format (Mi Nombre es___________. The will Learn and repeat greetings (Buenos dias, Buenas Tardes, Buenas Noches) and Practice the letter or the day (Each course) Learners will learn the topic of the day via weekly interactive lessons. Lessons will include the following topics: WeeK 1:Greetings Week 2:Los numbers/ numbers Week 3:The colors in Spanish. Week 4:Days of the Week Week 5:Months of the year. Week 6:Mi Familia/ My family. Week 7:Body parts I Week 8:Body parts II Week 9:Animals in the Zoo. Week 10:Farm Animals Week 11:Sea Animals Week 12:Rooms in my Home Week 13: Food - (Fruits, Vegetables, Meat) using the sentence frame [Me gusta_______.] Week 14: Meals of the Day. Week 15:Feelings Week 16:Four Seasons Week 17:Basic weather Week 18: Diversion/Fun I hope to see you soon. I am an online teacher, Education consultant, translator, mother and an adventure seeker. I was born and raised in the beautiful island of the Dominican Republic. Spanish is my first language and education is my passion. For the last 7 years I have also taught both Spanish and English online. I have a Bachelor degree in Speech and Learning science with a focus in Early childhood education.
My online classroom is a happy place where students learn through play. I believe that learning should be student based and is best achieved when students are enjoying the learning process. Learning new skills and languages opens up a new world for children, it allows them the ability to create and expand their skill set which is crucial in the world we live in today.
When I am not in the classroom I am most likely creating fun and exciting memories with my 2 children. We enjoy doing arts and crafts, hair tutorials, playing dress up and having tea parties.
