Spanish Fun- Let's Learn Colors!

The cognitive benefits of learning another language are undeniable.  Research shows that learning another language can be extremely beneficial for young learners.  Children exposed to a second language have improved memory, enhanced concentration, and better listening skills.  They are also better equipped to multitask and problem solve.  This is one reason I am so passionate about teaching Spanish to young learners.  

Spanish Fun- Let's Learn Colors! is a one time class that includes learning Spanish through an interactive presentation, visual props, conversation, songs, and games.  Students will learn the colors red, blue, yellow, green, black, white, purple, brown, pink, gray, and orange in Spanish. 

Class will begin with an ice breaker question.  Then students will be introduced to the colors red, blue, yellow, green, black, white, purple, brown, pink, gray, and orange in Spanish through the use of a powerpoint presentation, visual props, conversation, and a song.  We will end the class with a game that will review the class content in order to promote retention.  This is a beginner level course for students with little or no experience speaking Spanish.
