Class Experience
Exposure is very important when learning a second language but kids need to be engaged and enjoy the process. This class will be about 75% in Spanish. Students will hear new vocabulary words in songs and short stories by Rockalingua, a music based online Spanish language resource. (I have a subscription and will screen share - families will not need subscriptions or log in credentials.) I am a native Spanish speaker, raising bilingual children. I have done virtual Spanish lessons incorporating games, worksheets or activities for their school and bilingual Spanish read alouds for the past year. In addition, I have a B.A. in Comparative Literature, where i studied literature across cultural boundaries (English and Spanish languages).
