Description

Class Experience

This class is a conversational Spanish class for young learners. No prior experience with the Spanish is required; this course is designed for learners who have never spoken Spanish before. They will be after just the first class! Each class will emphasize dialogue, beginning with a script that we will practice together for proper pronunciation and vocabulary gain. For most classes students will be paired up to practice speaking and to personalize the dialogue/phrases we have learned.

By the end of this workshop, students will learn to introduce themselves, including age and interests, and know the names of family members.

Students may wish to bring paper and pencil to take notes, but this is not a requirement. There will be handouts for parents to print for use during the workshop. Students should save these along with any notes in one place for continued use and practice at home (if desired).

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
