Class Experience

US Grade 8 - 10
Welcome to my private Spanish class designed for one student, siblings or friends who share the same level of proficiency in the language. The class is held once a week for 45 min, providing a focused and personalized learning experience that caters to the unique needs and interests of each learner.

📌This class is customized to the student, siblings or friend needs.

Class Structure:

Each session begins with a brief review of the previous week's lesson to reinforce concepts and vocabulary. We then explore into new topics, covering grammar points, vocabulary expansion, and conversational practice. The class strikes a balance between structured lessons and interactive activities to keep the learners engaged and motivated.

To make learning Spanish dynamic and fun, I incorporate various activities tailored to the needs of the learners. These activities include games, interactive quizzes and listening exercises to reinforce language skills.

Grammar and Vocabulary:

The class focuses on building a solid foundation in Spanish grammar and vocabulary. We cover essential topics such as verb conjugations, sentence structure, noun-adjective agreement, and common idiomatic expressions. Regular practice exercises help consolidate learning and improve accuracy in speaking and writing.

Benefits of the Class:

Personalized Learning:
1. The class is tailored to the specific needs and interests of a single student, siblings or friends, ensuring targeted and effective learning outcomes.
2. Focused Attention: With a small class size, each learner receives ample attention, feedback, and opportunities for participation, fostering a supportive learning environment.
3. Consistent Progress: Weekly sessions allow for consistent practice and progress tracking, leading to gradual improvement in language proficiency and confidence.
4. Flexible Approach: The class curriculum is flexible and adaptable to accommodate individual learning styles, goals, and preferences, promoting active engagement and motivation.

During my College years, I worked for a language company in Colombia (CIL), I was trained by the owner in a conversational teaching method to teach ESL and Spanish to foreigners. It was a great opportunity to learn hands on how to teach others to communicate in other languages, how to teach children both in English and Spanish and how to be a bridge of knowledge in every subject that I was Certified in. It was such a wonderful experience that I kept working for them for more than 8 years giving me vast training in handling English and Spanish classes, I now use that experience and the fact that I am a native Spanish speaker to share what I know with children and to help them cope with anxiety and stress through mindfulness.
Even though my mayor is in International Business, my passion is working with children and learning along the with them.
