In this ongoing course, we meet twice a week for 25 minutes each session. It's designed to introduce 5-7-year-olds to this colorful language. In each class, we learn new words and simple sentences.

Each week's lesson in this course will introduce simple Spanish colorfully and effectively. I will give the learners the vocabulary they need to talk about things they love at home each week. Students will get to practice their pronunciation and be patiently given kind suggestions on how to say things well. For example, in one lesson, using Google slides I will introduce around 5-7 foods such as "chicken," "hamburger," "fish," "ice cream," and "apple." Students will be able to link the vocabulary with the great pictures throughout the class. We always wrap up the class with a game to review. * Every week new words will be introduced and taught using new and innovative methods. Here are the subjects of the first five classes: WEEK ONE (WEEK OF 21 FEB): Common foods. WEEK TWO (WEEK OF 28 FEB): Common drinks. WEEK THREE (WEEK OF 7 MAR): Common emotions. WEEK FOUR (WEEK OF 14 MAR): More common emotions. WEEK FIVE (WEEK OF 28 MAR): Common animals. La lección de cada semana en este curso presentará el español de manera colorida y efectiva. Te daré el vocabulario que necesitas para hablar de un tema diferente cada semana. Learning Goals
Students will have a good base in Spanish after a few of these classes. They will be a great introduction to move into my more advanced classes in Spanish.

I am not a native Spanish speaker nor am I bilingual. However, I have been speaking Spanish now for 16 years and teaching online for over 9 years. My wife is from Ecuador, so she and her family have taught me a great deal of Spanish over the years.
