Description
Class Experience
Students will learn to say words and simple sentences in Spanish from day one in this class!
Students will receive a weekly worksheet that may include coloring, tracing words, finding objects, or other challenges to support their learning in class!
1 file available upon enrollment😄Quiet room free from distractions (if possible!) and parent supervision 😄Paper and pencil/ colored pencils 😄Extra phone or tablet for game at the end of class 😄Special item or toy for sharing time!
Learners will be informally assessed orally during class. We will also use Kahoot games to review at the end of most classes which serves as an informal assessment of material studied that day. Parent can request additional feedback at any time!
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
As this class is for very young learners I request that a parent be present, especially for the first few classes. With this age of learner having a parent nearby helps the student feel comfortable and supported. It eases possible stress and encourages positive interactions with the teacher and other students.
We will use Kahoot in our classes to review material and give students a chance to show what they learned! You can download Kahoot on a phone or tablet or simply open it in your web browser. It isn't necessary to make an account if you prefer not to!
