Class Experience

🗓️ 6 weeks Session.

🌟 Welcome to my Spanish class for Beginners. My program is designed to provide your student with a solid foundation in the Spanish language and help them achieve fluency.
I use a conversational approach to language learning, which means that my students are encouraged to use the language in context from the very beginning of the course. This approach has been proven to be effective in helping students develop their language skills quickly and naturally.

In this 6 week class, students will learn the basics with interactive activities and games that will give the students the confidence to continue with my other Spanish programs. We will practice the pronunciation as a group and then I will ask students to repeat the words giving each student individual attention and meeting their level. It will be a bilingual class Spanish/English, with lots of Spanish emphasis.

There will be an audio with all the pronunciation for students to practice after class, as well as a PDF with vocabulary and a written exercise to complete.
If a student can not attend a class, the audio and PDF will provide all the tools to practice the concepts and the pronunciation taught during each class. ( Please contact me to provide other alternatives if your child can not attend a class).
**During the last 5 to 10 minutes of class, students will review the vocabulary using interactive games from: "Educaplay", "Blooket" and other apps. Students Do Not need to create accounts. *****CLASS RECORDING POLICY : I do not share recordings of my group classes in order to protect the privacy of all learners (many parents do not feel comfortable with other families having access to videos that include their child and many students are nervous to be seen by classmates making mistakes). However, if your child can not attend a class, I can arrange a 20 min session or a video with the content so that the student can be at the same level with the rest of the group. ( Please contact me to find the best alternative for both parties.)

During my College years, I worked for a language company in Colombia (CIL), I was trained by the owner in a conversational teaching method to teach ESL and Spanish to foreigners. It was a great opportunity to learn hands on how to teach others to communicate in other languages, how to teach children both in English and Spanish and how to be a bridge of knowledge in every subject that I was Certified in. It was such a wonderful experience that I kept working for them for more than 8 years giving me vast training in handling English and Spanish classes, I now use that experience and the fact that I am a native Spanish speaker to share what I know with children and to help them cope with anxiety and stress through mindfulness.
Even though my mayor is in International Business, my passion is working with children and learning along the with them.
