Spanish for Kiddos - Learn mis Letras: A - M (8-12 Years Old)
Did you know that in the Spanish language there are more letters in the alphabet? As we begin in Learn mis Letras Part #1, which is a continuation in my series: “Spanish for Kiddos”, we start learning the Spanish alphabet together. The goal of this class to is have a fun, interactive classroom environment where children will begin learning the Spanish alphabet. With my personalized help and guidance, each student will have the ability to say the letters phonetically, learn a variety of words, spell their names in Spanish and use short sentences to express themselves collectively and independently. Also, with the utilization of activities, games, pictures, visual aids, props and talk time these will all facilitate your child having fun while at the same time learning a foreign language.

During class your child will have lots of opportunities to participate and at the same time listen respectfully to others.
Below is the list of the letters we will discuss in the lesson with just a sample examples:

Students in this class will have the ability to phonetically express audibly, collectively and independently, all of the letters in the Spanish alphabet, spell their names and learn a variety of words and examples based off the letters learnt.
Other Details
Parental Guidance
Parents are encouraged (not required) to be present during the "review" portion of the class for their child to demonstrate the vocabulary they just learnt in class in Spanish.
Supply List
An optional one-page excel sheet with a list of the letters along with how to pronounce them phonetically and an example in English is attached for your child to keep to practice before, during and after class.

¡Hola! Hello! My name is Le Schawn Ward from Canada, welcome parents and learners to my Outschool profile/bio.
Here on Outschool we are encouraged to teach what we are passionate about, not only IS Spanish one of my passions but also teaching and helping others is too.
Regardless of the subject, learning level or ability, my motto is: If you’re not having fun then you’re not learning! That is what you can expect for your child in ALL my classes, they will enjoy themselves while learning.
Helping others has always been something that brings me a lot of inner joy, so I am absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity on Outschool to combine my love for Spanish and with helping others to learn and to speak one of the most spoken and popular languages in the world!
Now let’s get down to the ‘nitty-gritty’. I have my bachelor's degree in Education, minoring in Language Education, hold both a TEFL and TESOL certification, have a background in theatre arts, TV and commercials and I am completely fluent speaking and writing Spanish. I also have extensive public speaking skills, having done so in front of crowds of over 3,000+ people!
Since 2002, I have been teaching children, youth and adults alike. In an online setting since 2018 I have been teaching children from ages 3-16 and to date have completed over 7,500 online classes totaling over 18,500 students! In my volunteer educational work, I have been teaching people of all different ages in Spanish since 2007.
Now that the ‘nitty-gritty is out of the way, I can’t wait to meet your child/children and let the fun begin!
