Class Experience

This class is intended for students who already have a minimum of knowledge of Spanish. This course also aims to prepare the students for the next "intermediate to advanced" Spanish course by introducing them to the topic of conjugation of verbs to
help them to converse at a more advanced level using conjugated verbs in the past, present and future tense.
In order to access this class it is required to have completed the "Spanish for beginners" or "Spanish for beginners II" classes, or to have had previous knowledge of the Spanish language.
These 4 weeks of Spanish language course is directed to students who would like to learn conversational Spanish by starting to conjugate the verbs. The course introduces everyday language and includes activities to practice all four language skills: reading comprehension, writing, listening comprehension and speaking.
After completing this course, the student will be prepared to have a conversation in Spanish by making sentences in the past, present and future tense. As well the students will be able to use in the conversations vocabulary about different topics.


* The first week the students will learn about verbs that end in "ar" and how to conjugate them;  as well, they will  have conversation classes to practice sentences using verbs that end in "ar" such a "cantar", "caminar", "hablar" etc.
 
*The second week the students will learn about  verbs that end in "er" and how to conjugate them;  as well, they will  have conversation classes to practice sentences using verbs that end in "er" such a "comer", "beber", "tener" etc.
 
*The third  week the students will learn about verbs that end in "ir" and how to conjugate them;  as well, they will  have conversation classes to practice sentences using verbs that end in "ir" such a "vivir", "reir", "subir" etc.
 
*The fourth week the students will learn "Personal Pronouns", "Possessives Adjectives"  and "Qualifying Adjetives and Oposites" in Spanish. During this classes the students also will practice conversations using all the knowledge of conjugated verbs acquired in these three first weeks of classes.

Materials: 
All lesson and homework materials will be provided by the course instructor. Students will have access to the course syllabus once enrolled.
Learning Goals
The student will be prepared to have a conversation in Spanish by making sentences in the past, present and future tense and using  personal pronouns, possessives adjectives  and Qualifying Adjectives as well.
