The class is directed to continue with the knowledge of the Spanish language studied in the class "Spanish for beginners", but IS NOT a requirement that needs to be completed before students can access this course "Spanish for beginners II" , since in this class "Spanish for beginners II" we will study new subjects ALSO of the elementary level. These 4 weeks of Spanish language course is directed to students who would like to learn conversational Spanish starting with Spanish basics (they do not need to have previous knowledge of this language ). The course introduces everyday language and includes activities to practice all four language skills: reading comprehension, writing, listening comprehension and speaking. After completing this course, the student will be prepared to introduce himself, ask basic questions, and conduct a brief conversation in Spanish. The student will learn basic conversational skills, how to describe your nationality "soy de" , your likes and dislike "me gusta, no me gusta", and make simple sentences using the most used verb (actions) and basic conjugation. Every week they will learn Spanish vocabulary that will allow them to express sentences. * The first week the students will learn vocabulary and an a introduction to essential words in Spanish language : The days of the week and the months and seasons of the years. As well, they will learn vocabulary about places such as : cocina (kitchen), dormitorio (bedroom), patio (backyard), plaza (square), playa (beach) etc... *The second week the students will learn about spacial concepts in Spanish: up, down, inside, outside "arriba, abajo, adentro, afuera...", as well they will learn bocabulary about the clothes "la ropa" and thing that we have a home such as: mesa (table), sillón (couch), puerta (door), ventilador (fan) etc... *The third week the students will learn about people and professions. Also they will learn how to express in Spanish their like and dislike: "me gusta, no me gusta", and to ask and answer simple questions like: where is the bathroom? "donde esta el baño?", Who is he? "quien es el?". Do you like this? "te gusta?". *The fourth week the students will learn the question words in Spanish like: quien (who), cuando (when), porque (why), cual (wich one), cuanto, cuantos (how many, how much), donde (where), de donde (from where), adonde (to where). que (what), como (how). As well, they will learn the phrases there is and there is not "hay, no hay" and point to people, places and things with the demonstrative adjectives this, these, that, those, this is a ..... "este/ este, ese/ esa etc... ese es un....." Materials: All lesson and homework materials will be provided by the course instructor. Students will have access to the course syllabus once enrolled. The instructor also will post video recordings about the new topics, it will help the students to remember and practice what they learned in every class

Parental Guidance
Students need daily time practicing a foreign language. Even just 30 minutes per day can make a tremendous difference in the skills they develop.
Supply List
Webcam and microphone for class participation. Notebook, pencil, eraser, coloring tools. Handouts are provided by the Teacher via file upload.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

I'm a native Spanish speaker and I've been teaching different subjects in Elementary, Middle and High School levels in public schools in my country Argentina. I moved to Texas in 2013. I have taught Spanish at a local middle school and high school in the city of Flower Mound, Tx.
