What's your teaching style?

I like to base my lessons on the students' needs and apply strategies that fit them.





How much will learners get to interact with you (mention specifics like: lecture, games, slides, video clips, discussion)?

Students will be able to play Bingo, Kahoot, watch videos, and do many activities connected to the topic.




What will be taught?

I will teach Spanish as a second language to children aged 6 to 8. The focus will be on foundational vocabulary, basic grammar, and conversational skills to help them understand and use the language in everyday contexts.

How is your class structured?
Each class will last about 25 minutes and follow a predictable, child-friendly routine:

Warm-up and greetings

Introduction of new content

Practice through songs, games, and visuals

Interactive activities (movement, drawing, role-play, etc.)

Review and wrap-up



How will you teach?


I use a play-based, multisensory approach that keeps children engaged through music, visuals, movement, and stories. I aim to make each lesson fun, interactive, and developmentally appropriate, encouraging participation and creativity while introducing cultural aspects of the Spanish-speaking world.


Important note: The topics presented may not follow the assigned order, I tend to make changes when I see the needs of the students.



📚 Zoom Class Rules for Spanish Lessons
✅ Be on Time

Please join the Zoom class on time. Being punctual helps everyone get the most out of each lesson.

✅ Mute When Not Speaking

Keep your microphone muted when you're not speaking. This prevents background noise and helps us all focus.

✅ Use the Chat Function for Questions

If you have a question during the lesson, type it in the chat, and I will get to it when possible.

✅ Raise Your Hand to Speak

If you want to answer or ask a question, use the "Raise Hand" feature in Zoom. This helps maintain order and lets everyone have a chance to participate.

✅ Be Respectful and Listen

Always listen when others are speaking. Show respect to your classmates and their ideas, just as you would in a regular classroom.

✅ Turn On Your Camera (When Possible)

It’s great to see everyone! Please turn on your camera so we can interact better and have more fun together. If you have a reason not to, feel free to let me know.

✅ Be Prepared with Materials

Have your Spanish notebook, pen, and any printed materials ready for class. You’ll get the most out of our lessons if you stay organized!

✅ Use the Zoom Tools Appropriately

Use the “raise hand” button, reactions, or chat for class-related purposes only. These tools help us communicate more effectively.

✅ Stay Focused

Please avoid distractions (like playing with toys or using other devices) while in class. We are here to learn, and it’s important to stay engaged.

It’s important to join in! I’ll be asking questions and encouraging you to practice. Don’t be shy—let’s have fun speaking Spanish!
