Class Experience

This class is taught in English.
This class allows Spanish language learners to gain exposure to common Spanish words and phrases and increase their vocabulary! However, there is no previous Spanish knowledge necessary.
I am bilingual in English and Spanish. I started learning Spanish in High School, taking 2 years of Spanish classes in High School and 1 year of Spanish classes at DePaul University. Those classes helped me to build a great foundation in reading fluently in Spanish and speaking the language.

For the past 20 years, I have immersed myself in the Spanish language and culture. Most native Spanish speakers are amazed when they hear me read and speak Spanish because they say I do so without an English accent.

I love to teach others how to read Spanish, as I know from experience that's the best way to learn the language! I have been teaching Spanish classes virtually for the past 2 years. Many students who have taken my class did not know any Spanish at first and by the end of the school year can now confidently read in Spanish and hold a basic conversation.
20 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
During class I will share the custom story through screenshare.
