Each class has a speaking goal.
Throughout my time teaching in classrooms or online, I have always used a variety of activities that include student participation in the L2. I have many communicative strategies that can be used without preparation in order to differentiate the materials for level or age, and also to adjust for time management. In addition, I love learning through conversation. I am naturally social and enjoy conversing with students about any topic that interests them. And of course, I have the patience to wait for them to respond and also the knowledge to assist them and explain corrections and grammar as needed.
No homework is assigned.
Students will receive general materials at the time of enrollment in the OS classroom.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Since this is a practice based course only, no formal assessment is provided.
5 hours 15 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
The materials are appropriate for all students.
