In this on-going class you will learn vocabulary as you hear. We will practice the new words together to build a good foundation. We will practice free conversation and we'll also practice syllables to learn how to read.

Beginner Level
What a wonderful time of the year to learn Spanish! Beginners don't need any prior experience. In this 25 minute class, we will read, review vocabulary and talk! Session #1: Las vocales Session #2: Silabas y vocabulario #1 Session #3: Silabas y vocabulario #2 Session #4: Silabas y vocabulario #3 Session#5: Silabas y vocabulario #4 In this class content doesn't build and is mainly student directed. Students do no need to get any books. I sometimes request to print a page or two, a notebook and a pencil. Hope that you decide to take this class!

Students will be exposed to rich vocabulary in Spanish that will allow them to make connections that will last a lifetime.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I am very able to teach my students the most effective way to learn, which is by using the language. I have experience working with kids and teenagers with different backgrounds and cultures. I have travelled to different spanish speaking countries and I grew up in one of them. I have established conversations with people from Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, Honduras, Spain, Costa Rica, and Mexico. I understand very well different dialects and expressions, which makes me knowledgeable of the use of the language. I also have have persued formal studies where I have obtained my five year Bachelor's degree in education. I have taught in Venezuela and the US for over 12 years.
