In this ongoing, interactive 25-minute class for beginning Spanish students, we will learn and practice new vocabulary and sentences each week through songs, chants, movements, stories, and puppets.
Class experience
In this 25-minute, once weekly ongoing Spanish Circle Time for Young Learners class, students will learn new vocabulary and sentence structures each week along with practicing basic conversational skills through the use of songs, chants, movements, and puppets. We will focus on a new topic each class/week. Students will become more familiar with spoken Spanish, learn basic vocabulary words, and learn how to communicate in Spanish using short phrases and sentences.
Each student is encouraged to bring a stuffed animal or puppet to class if they would like. These will be used to practice conversations. I will provide a list of the new vocabulary words each week/class meeting.
We will be singing songs that were created by me and/or former colleagues to reinforce our learning.
