In this 25-minute, once weekly ongoing Spanish Circle Time for Young Learners class, students will learn new vocabulary and sentence structures each week along with practicing basic conversational skills through the use of songs, chants, movements, and puppets. We will focus on a new topic each class/week. This class is for young beginners, so no experience with Spanish is necessary. Students will become more familiar with spoken Spanish, learn basic vocabulary words, and learn how to communicate in Spanish using short phrases and sentences.
Each student is encouraged to bring a stuffed animal or puppet to class if they would like. These will be used to practice conversations. I will provide a list of the new vocabulary words each week/class meeting.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
We will be singing songs that were created by me and/or former colleagues to reinforce our learning.
