Description

Class Experience

Welcome to Awesome Otoño! This class will meet once a week for five weeks, and each week we will learn and apply a different preschool skill while building our vocabulary in the target language related to our theme. Students will be encouraged to interact with the teacher and each other, both verbally and nonverbally, to help build their speaking and comprehension of the target language. 

Each class will begin with a greeting and the days of the week. In addition, we will focus on specific...

Students will learn the following fall vocabulary words in Spanish:
hoja
ardilla
calabaza
árbol
manzana
bellota
búho
pavo
espantapájaros
ganso
elote 

Students will also learn to to extend simple patterns (i.e. AB, ABB, etc.) and identify the sound of the vowels in Spanish.

No homework is required, but parents are encouraged to review key vocabulary and/or read the book(s) provided to help support learning outside of class.

  1 file available upon enrollment
We will have an interactive book, vocabulary flash cards, and number cards available for download to provide additional practice outside of class time.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
