Description

Class Experience

We will use the opportunity to practice our Spanish conversation skills, both listening and speaking.  Students will be coached when they do not know a word or phrase.  As Spanish is spoken in over 20 countries, there is always an opportunity to learn synonyms for words students already know from different parts of the Spanish-speaking world.  I will call on quieter students, but I will not force them to speak if they do not wish, as practicing listening and understanding is just as important...

This class is taught in Spanish.

Students will become more comfortable with speaking Spanish and learn more vocabulary.

Teacher is a life-long Spanish speaker and has a bachelor's and a master's degree in Spanish as well as a graduate certificate in translation.

Be prepared with a few sentences answering the prompt of the day for our next conversation.

3 hours 20 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
