Spanish Camp, En La Escuela, is a 4-session class that covers the basics of Spanish including introductions, colors, shapes, numbers, letters, sounds & pronunciation through games, activities and repetition. This is an interactive class that encourages class participation, but it is not required. I will use a colorful presentation that will include easy to read/see vocabulary words with images & phrases. I will say the word/phrase and the learners can repeat back. I will provide a printable vocabulary reference page and practice worksheets for each day of the camp to be used as a reference before, during and/or after the class. Day 1: Introductions/Greetings & Numbers 0-10 & Days of the Week Day 2: Alphabet, Sounds & Review of Day 1 Day 3: Colors & Shapes & Review of Day 1 & 2 Day 4: Review & Practice all of the vocabulary
Learning Goals
Students will learn basic Spanish vocabulary with the opportunity to read, write and speak the new vocabulary.
Day 1: Introductions/Greetings & Numbers 0-10 & Days of the Week
Day 2: Alphabet, Sounds & Review of Day 1
Day 3: Colors & Shapes & Review of Day 1 & 2
Day 4: Review & Practice all of the vocabulary

Hola! Hello! My name is Teacher Sandra. I have been teaching Spanish for 18 years! I haven't always been bilingual, but I have always wanted to be. In 2000, I went to Costa Rica to do a study abroad program. I met my husband, we got married and started a business teaching Spanish. When our son was born, I became very interested in child development and earned a degree in business management with an emphasis on child development. I was intrigued by language acquisition and immersed myself into the study of language development. I took my new knowledge and wrote a Spanish curriculum unique to how one might naturally learn a language.
I have had the opportunity to successfully teach hundreds of kids in a way that they retain and utilize their newly acquired skills. I look forward to the opportunity to bestow these skills onto your young learners. Reviews
