During this course, learners will read the Spanish novel: El Capibara Con Botas by Mira Canion. All classes will be taught completely in Spanish unless a student needs some extra guidance. Week 1: The first week's class will be an introduction to the novel and introductions to each other. We will discuss the author's note and we will read Chapter 1 "Rata" together. We will also discuss the setting and the main characters. Week 2: Read Chapter 2 "Amigos" and answer comprehension...
Learners will improve upon their Spanish fluency and comprehension through reading.
I am a certified K-8 Spanish teacher. I have taught Mira Canion novels in my classroom for the last 5 years.
Learners will read 1 chapter each week (roughly 2-3 pages).

Learners will be assessed orally during weekly classes. Teacher will provide comprehension questions for group discussion in class.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
In addition to the Outschool platform, we will use Kahoot to play review games about the book.
