Description
Class Experience
During this class students will play Bingo in Spanish. The game includes nouns in Spanish. The teacher will "distribute" cards at random through posting them in the classroom; students are to print out or open their cards online. The teacher will call out one noun at a time; students will have the opportunity to recognize which noun it is and then mark their cards if they have it. Students will practice responding in Spanish whether they have the noun that was called in their card or...
Students will increase their vocabulary in Spanish, improve their listening skills in Spanish, and also learn more nouns!
Spanish is my first language and it is my passion to help anyone else learn it! I do so through games which increases motivation to learn. I am also a PhD candidate in Early Childhood Education and working on my dissertation which is focused on teachers' understanding of biliteracy. Please feel free to reach out at any time if you have any questions.
No homework is assigned for this class. However, as with any language learning experience, practice of vocabulary is always crucial.
*Being able to print at least one page with the Bingo Card *Paper and pencil
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
At the end of the hour of playing Bingo in Spanish, students will produce a list of all the nouns they learned from the game with its English translation.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
