In this four-week asynchronous Spanish course, children will enjoy singing about, hearing a story about, making a drawing or craft project about, and discussing an engaging weekly transportation theme as they hear and practice the language.

Class experience

I received a minor in the Spanish language with my bachelor degree (2011). Later, I went on to complete the seven-week level 5 Spanish course at Roca Blanca Spanish School in Catalotepec, Mexico (2018). I have taught group Spanish classes to a variety of ages over a span six years, five years of which have been online. Additionally, I have been raising my children primarily in Spanish since 2016.
Homework Offered
Learners will be able to participate by: 1. Sharing the Spanish word for their favorite transportation in the weekly category (You can use the integrated Zoom function in the Outschool classroom to easily make a short video), 2. Showing their drawing or project from the video and copies of their worksheets, 3. Singing the week's song for us, 4. Sharing their favorite part of the week's book, re-telling AND/OR reading it using a little, a lot, or all Spanish, depending on individual ability, and 5. Participating in our weekly learner-to-learner-interaction extension activity.
0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
