Class Experience
Hola! I’m excited to meet you and learn new words in this beginner Spanish class for elementary aged students. We will practice speaking and reading new words in class with students as they practice correctly saying the words with me in the instructional video. Each lesson will feature a new topic to focus on. You can jump in at any time with no previous knowledge necessary to start the fun in learning the beautiful Spanish Language. I like to use a presentation style of teaching to show the students pictures and words while I am teaching to help them understand the concepts better. This also helps to keep them engaged in the lesson as well. This class is an immersion class with 70% Spanish and 30% English. SeÑor Panda and myself are from Mexico and we love sharing our love for Spanish with eager learners! This is a unique class given by a native speaker in Spanish and English. Because this is a flexible class, there are no LIVE meetings. Weekly assignments for this class will be given after each instructional video to help engage the learners beyond the video. They will include a coloring and trying to guess the mystery phrase. The Class Syllabus Week 1: Days of the Week Week 2 Months of the Year Week 3: Birthday Week 4: Weather Week 5: Parts of the Body Week 6: Family Week 7: Sea Animals Week 8: Farm Animals No background knowledge in Spanish is needed to succeed in this class.
