COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This is an accelerated 8 week course designed to fulfill the academic requirements for High School Spanish 3.
Spanish 3 focuses on the advanced study of all modalities of the language – listening, speaking, reading, writing and culture – with a heavy emphasis on grammatical structures and verb tenses. 
The big idea of Spanish 3 is differentiating and mastering the subjunctive mood, as well as using it in a variety of settings. 
Topics include Hispanic cuisine, healthy lifestyles, chores, travel, and manners. 

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
• Talk about food and food preparation 
• Share feelings and emotions 
• Talk about the body and how to take care of it 
• Travel around town and complete errands 
• Discuss modes of transportation 
• Discuss manners
• Talk about rite of passage and important milestones
