Class Experience

This is a self made curriculum that will focus on the following. A workbook will be provided!* This class will be taught in English and Spanish. This is the second of two classes of it's type. This is the continuation from Spanish 2 Semester 1- Grammar/Conversation. We will be using a discussion style class as well as the websites listed. Each student will also receive a copy of a story that will be discussed in class.

I have a BA degree in Spanish from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. I have lived in Mexico while attending an exchange program while in college. I taught Spanish to Preschool, Elementary, Middle and Highschool students for over 12 years.

Homework is going to be a combination of writing exercises, worksheets and classroom discussions and videos.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:Duolingo

Each bi- week will end with a Quiz on what was taught. Quizzes may be written, oral, or through review. There will be a mid- course assessment and a course comprehension assessment to see students' comprehension of the subject . When the quizzes are assigned are subject to change.

1 hour 50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.

All game platforms listed under resources will be used as part of the classroom activities.
