Are you ready for an incredible language journey? This is not just a class; it's an immersive experience designed for complete beginners or those eager to rekindle their love for Spanish.

Class Features:

📆 Schedule: We meet twice a week for 30 minutes each session.
📚 Resources: Students receive a treasure trove - classroom slides, vocabulary lists, Quizlet digital flashcards, and curated interactive video suggestions.
📖 Curriculum: We follow the Avancemos 2 textbook, but fear not – I provide plenty of resources, so no need to buy the book unless you want to!

Future Awaits:
🚀 Upon completing this course, students can seamlessly transition to Spanish 3 and 4 for an exciting language journey ahead.

Learning Goals
Legends and storytelling
Students will be able to narrate a story in the past tense using the preterite and imperfect tenses, focusing on describing characters, settings, and events in Spanish.
Ancient and modern civilizations
Students will be able to compare and contrast ancient civilizations with modern-day society, using vocabulary related to historical monuments, technology, and daily life.

Cait is a dedicated educator with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in education, specializing in Spanish and English Linguistics & Literature. She’s TESOL, AMET, and EBE certified and has 13 years of teaching experience in the U.S., Spain, Thailand, Guatemala, and Mexico. She also offers beginner Italian and study skills courses for online learners. ✨🌎

With a bachelor’s degree in Biology 🧬 and Spanish, Mary combines her TESOL certification and five years of teaching experience in the U.S., Spain, and Colombia. Her global perspective and passion make her classes engaging and impactful! 💼📚
