Ms. Castellanos grew up speaking both Spanish and English. She received her bachelor's degree in Education and since finishing her degree has focused on learning and teaching reading and language skills to support her ELL students (ELL-English Language Learners). Ms. Castellanos has worked with children over the past 12 years and loved visiting the Spanish speaking country of El Salvador which is also the birthplace of her mother and father. She cannot wait to meet your child in class soon!
Please have your child bring their Spanish materials to class. If you are able to send these materials to Ms. Castellanos before class it will be very helpful as it will give her the opportunity to review what your child would like to work on during their session. This could include an image of the homework they need assistance with or class notes if applicable.
