Students will be engaged with a native speaker and will practice Spanish at their own level. The topic of the day could be chosen from my list or the student can choose to practice conversation in Spanish or it could be a beginner's immersion class. The pace of the class will be adjusted to meet the student's needs. My philosophy is that learning should be engaged and fun. I try my best to engage the students in the learning and expose them to different topics that they might show interest in. I make the class very interactive we'll play some Kahoot (if subject is chosen from list), students will be encouraged to ask questions about the subject and start to have a conversation with a Spanish native speaker. Students will be encouraged so they can gain confidence in speaking the language. Students will be encouraged to practice what they learn at home.
Learning Goals
In this class the students will learn from basic to intermediate vocabulary in Spanish and will get to practice conversational Spanish. I will encourage the students to practice saying the words when they see it around them. Students will be encouraged to practice formulating sentences using the material they learn that day in Spanish so that they can grow more confident with the language.Other Details
Parental Guidance
We might be playing a game in Kahoot. Kahoot is a third-party tool approved for use by Outschool. There is no need for the student to create an account. I will send a code for them to join my game or I will share the game on my screen.
