Hola! Bienvenido/a a la Clase de Español. Welcome to Spanish Class.
{Please note: This class do not require students to have any prior knowledge of Spanish. The goal of each session is for students to learn and practice key Spanish phrases and vocabulary.}
Are you ready to learn some Spanish words? This one time class Spanish is all about learning to name the members of your family (Mi Familia) in Spanish Students will learn basic Spanish words (Hola, Adios, Familia, hermana, hermano, bebe, amigo, mama, papa, abuelita, abuelito, mascotas) Students will have many opportunities to participate by answer questions using the learned vocabulary. Students will be able to discuss their family and the members in it. My classroom is very interactive, students are given the opportunity to share their ideas and practice their Spanish vocabulary. I also teach through play, which means students are often engaging in repetition as we play fun and exciting games. Learning a new language is not always easy but it should always be FUN.Learning Goals
In this class the student will learn basic Spanish words. At the end of the class students will be able to name all of the members of their families.

I am an online teacher, Education consultant, translator, mother and an adventure seeker. I was born and raised in the beautiful island of the Dominican Republic. Spanish is my first language and education is my passion. For the last 7 years I have also taught both Spanish and English online. I have a Bachelor degree in Speech and Learning science with a focus in Early childhood education.
My online classroom is a happy place where students learn through play. I believe that learning should be student based and is best achieved when students are enjoying the learning process. Learning new skills and languages opens up a new world for children, it allows them the ability to create and expand their skill set which is crucial in the world we live in today.
When I am not in the classroom I am most likely creating fun and exciting memories with my 7 year daughter. We enjoy doing arts and crafts, hair tutorials, playing dress up and having tea parties.
