This 10 week Semester 1 online course is one that can count towards credit for a Spanish Level 1 for students.
Class experience
This is a self-made curriculum that will focus on the syllabus listed in the new "syllabus" section. A workbook will be provided!* We will be using a discussion style class as well as the websites Kahoot, Quizlet and Blooket for review games. Learners will use Flip for creating videos weekly as part of assignments. I have a BA degree in Spanish from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. I have lived in Mexico while attending an exchange program while in college. I taught Spanish to Preschool, Elementary, Middle and Highschool students for over 16 years.
Homework Offered
Homework will be a combination of writing exercises, worksheets and classroom discussions and videos.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Each bi- week will end with a Quiz on what was taught. There will be a mid- course assessment and a course comprehension assessment to see students' comprehension of the subject . When the quizzes are assigned are subject to change.Grades Offered
