Students will grow in their ability to understand, speak and read in Spanish. This course is mean to build confidence and ability in the use of a second language. 

I am an experienced language teacher with over 15 years of experience teaching Spanish as well as 5 years experience teaching English as a second language in the virtual classroom. I have been teaching my own personal Spanish curriculum on Outschool. Prior to virtual teaching I taught high school and middle school Spanish in the classroom. I studied the Spanish language in the U.S.A at Temple University and in Spain at Universidad Complutense in Madrid. I have spent multiple summers in Spanish-speaking countries teaching English and continuing to study Spanish.  I love the language and I always enjoy helping students love it too! 

Homework Offered
There will be homework between each class. This allows the student to be practicing Spanish daily to keep up with the new rules and vocabulary. It also assures they are ready to practice and continue on in learning in the next class. The homework will be posted on the message board  for this class and should be turned in through google classroom. 
1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
There will be weekly vocabulary quizzes and each unit will end with an assessment, either oral, written or a combination. I will gladly remain in communication with student and parent about the student's progress and where they may need more support.
