Space Explorer | Mysteries of Deep Space Camp
Class experience
Through every corner of our galaxy and beyond astronomers are finding strange and mystifying phenomena. The past 50 years have done a lot to unravel the mysteries of deep space, and the next 30 will certainly teach us more. In this class students will get a chance to explore what we know about some of spaces most interesting formations. We'll answer questions like: -What is a blackhole and how does it form? -What are nebulas? -What is dark matter and antimatter? -Where else might life exist...
Students will learn about Blackholes, nebulas, supernovas, antimatter, dark matter, and other phenomena found in the known universe. Students will learn about potentially habitable planets outside of our own. We'll talk about how scientists observe deep space phenomena and discuss the prevailing theories on these topics.
