Welcome to my Space Exploration Series - The Sun & Moon! In this 4-week, interactive science class, students will be discovering: 1) Earth's moon and all of it's phases and effects 2) The Sun and all of it's important and life giving functionality Other parts of my Space Exploration Series cover topics such as the Solar System, Asteroids, Meteors, Comets, Stars, Constellations and weird junk just floating around. The format for this class will be as follows: Week 1: Introductions, Moon...
To learn all of the phases of the moon as well as importance and function of the sun.
Students will be assigned weekly worksheets to complete from home and submit before the next class meeting.
Students should log in to class each week with typical school supplies (pencil, eraser, paper, etc). All worksheets will be posted by the teacher to the classroom message board. Supplies for the final project will be posted on the classroom board before the 3rd class meeting.
Students will self-assess during the final class.
40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
