Space Adventure Circle Time Ages 3-6
This space adventure circle time will be such an awesome experience for your child. We will sing, play, and learn about space!

In this fun space circle time we will start out with regular circle time activities. We will do calendar, sing our welcome songs and, discuss the weather, the date, and the day of the week. This should take around 10 minutes, then we will move on to our fun space themed activities! We will discuss the planets, how many of them, the names, and their location to the sun. This will take around 10 minutes. After our discussion we will move on to our craft and play time! We will be making paper plate solar systems by cutting the inside circle of a paper plate, and using the ring left as our solar system, we will decorate our solar systems with whatever you want! You can cut out planets, stars, etc, or you can have pre-bought space stickers as well, it's your solar system so make it your own! This will take up most of the rest of our time. We will spend about 5 minutes cleaning up, saying our goodbyes, and ending the class. I look forward to our space adventure!
Learning Goals
Students will recognize the day of the week, the date, and the current month.
Students will build fine motor skills by using scissors to cut their items to glue to their solar system.
Students will be able to recognize each planet and its name.
Other Details
Parental Guidance
We will be using scissors if your child would rather make their solar system pieces than buying space stickers (either is fine with me).
We will be using glue as well.

Supply List
