Description

Class Experience

Learners may need extra time outside of class to finish daily projects or prepare for the next day's projects
Elmer’s Washable School Glue, 2 bottles - It must be washable - clear or white only - One of these bottles we will add paint to, so having 2 different bottles of glue is necessary - Smaller bottles are easier for smaller hands to hold - Please make sure it is in good condition, and the nozzle works well (new or recently washed in warm soapy water). We will “draw” with the glue and need it to flow easily. Acrylic paint (multiple colors of choice, and at least 1/4 cup of black paint is needed) Long wooden skewer (to be used as a stir stick) White cardstock or heavy paper (any size; I use letter or A4 in demonstrations. We will use at least 3, but extra are recommended) White fabric (can be a scrap, bandana, T-shirt, or any piece of washable white fabric) Canvas (any size; demonstration will use 8x10 canvas) Pencil Salt (about 1 cup - enough to pour, not just sprinkle, onto a page) Watercolor paints Plastic lid (from an old yogurt or ice cream container) Baking/serving tray (to contain salt mess) Old/plastic cup with water Paint brushes Access to a printer (for templates) Smock/protection for clothes Plastic wrap or large freezer bag Toothpicks
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
3 hours 20 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
