Class experience
During this class, the students will be read aloud the book When Sophie Gets Angry Really Really Angry by Molly Bang. The story is about a young girl who gets really angry, but in the end finds a safe and positive way to cope with her anger. After the read aloud, we will have a class discussion about what Sophie did to help cope and calm herself when she felt angry, as well as discuss other positive ways to cope with the emotion of anger. By the end of this class, students will be able to effectively identify strategies to help calm themselves, and positively cope with the emotion of anger.
