Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello!
My name is Ms. Cook, and I am a state licensed Early Childhood, ESL, and Special Education teacher with 8 years of classroom teaching experience. In addition to my teaching experience, I am also a current final year graduate student of counseling. Over the course of my teaching and academic career, I've come to recognize and understand the extreme importance of little learners being able to effectively recognize, understand, and process strong emotions.
The classes that I teach include the reading of age appropriate books, discussions about the emotion addressed in the book, and will always conclude with a fun and engaging activity. I absolutely love teaching little learners, and I work hard to make sure each lesson is fun and engaging!
I look forward to meeting your learner soon!
