This exciting, high-energy class is inspired by all your favorite Sonic the Hedgehog games and adventures. Get ready to embark on a fitness journey with Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, and all the beloved characters from the Sonic universe! Each week, we’ll dive into a new theme from the Sonic the Hedgehog universe, combining elements of fitness, fun, and creativity. Here’s what to expect: -5-10 minutes of socialization -Warm-up (safety first!) -Themed mission/workout, REAL exercises -Music and Dance -Videos, Games, Adventure -Run, jump, play, imagine, share, learn real exercises, LAUGH, play games, make friends! -Each week is a new adventure! Workouts will include: (BASED ON LEARNER INPUT! NO SET SCHEDULE!) Sonic’s Speed Training Get ready to run like Sonic! This week, we’ll incorporate speed and agility exercises that mimic Sonic's lightning-fast moves. Expect lots of high-speed fun and movement! Tails’ Flight School Channel your inner Tails with energetic flight-inspired workouts. This week is all about having a blast while learning some awesome moves that will get your heart pumping! Knuckles’ Strength Challenge Prepare for an adventure-packed workout as we reenact Knuckles' strength challenges. Run, jump, and dodge your way through fun obstacle courses! Amy’s Dance Party Join the ranks of Amy's dance party with specialized fitness training. Learn rhythmic moves and strength-building exercises to keep you in top shape for any adventure! Shadow’s Ultimate Training Take on the ultimate training routines inspired by Shadow's adventures. This week is all about dynamic and powerful workouts that will get your heart racing! Defeat Dr. Eggman Join Sonic on a virtual mission to outsmart Dr. Eggman. We'll incorporate obstacle course workouts and games that bring the fun of a Sonic adventure right to your home! Chaotix Crew’s Team Challenge Get moving with the Chaotix Crew’s team challenges. Jump, dance, and train like you're part of the team with these lively exercises! AND MORE! Perfect for kids who love Sonic the Hedgehog and want to stay active and healthy. Exercises, games, and challenges inspired by the first 2 movies (new movie said to be coming December 2024!), what could be more fun?! No prior experience or supplies are needed – just bring your energy, enthusiasm, water, a small space, a big smile, and your Sonic spirit! 🌀🎉💪
Learning Goals
Through our activities, children can improve their gross motor skills, including strength, balance, and coordination. Combining exercise/dance moves with songs to make movement enjoyable for children, helping them build stamina, strength, and flexibility.
We also focus on important developmental skills like leadership, teamwork, and confidence.
Other Details
Parental Guidance
Parental guidance is suggested just to make sure your child is staying hydrated and resting when needed. But don't worry we always warm up and take plenty of group water and breathing breaks! We will use these rest times to get to know one another and play interactive games.
