Students will leave the class with a deeper understanding of harmony, melody, and lyrics, as well as being able to recognize song forms. 
Students will be encouraged to continue finding inspiration and writing songs as well as continue with suggested listening of songwriters.

Hi Everyone! My name is Meghnaa. I love to teach singing techniques that help my students discover their own unique voice and style of expression. I encourage positivity, fun, and confidence in my classes. I am always so excited to work with my students and that energy never fails to spark creativity and active imaginations!

I firmly believe that engaging in the performing arts is more than just an activity; it's a pathway for youngsters to discover their true selves and learn the beautiful art of expressing themselves. Through this journey, they cultivate open-mindedness by stepping into different roles, nurturing empathy and confidence that seamlessly integrates into all aspects of their lives.

A bit about me, I am a Toronto-based singer-songwriter, performer, and dedicated mentor. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Toronto Metropolitan University, and have released 8 singles, including an EP and a collaborative single which has reached over 1.5 million streams globally. My talents have been recognized with an honorable mention at the Young Canadian Songwriter Award in 2021, and I have the privilege to be part of SOCAN's 2023's TD music incubator program as a testament to my commitment to the performing arts.
