Class Experience

In this 4-week songwriting course, we will go over the elements of creating a song.

Students will be led through a series of lessons, activities, and games that will help them understand how lyrics, harmony, melody, and rhythm come together to create impactful songs.

Students will learn how to use AI tools to create their own background music, or how to use recording devices to create their own backing tracks if they play an instrument.

Learning Goals

Students will leave the class with an understanding of harmony, melody, and lyric, and students who complete all the assignments will end up with their own original song.
