Take voice lessons with a performer! No true background experience is required. In this course, I will demonstrate vocal warm-ups to work on breath support, body positioning, using your chest voice and head voice, vowel placement, and opening up the soft palette. Each class will focus on a different musical favorite, perfecting the chorus of a popular song from "Hamilton". The song will be taught, workshopped, and accompanied live on piano! I consistently adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners, so there is no need to be worried- all questions are good questions! I have a Bachelor's Degree in vocal performance, as well as a Master's degree in Music Education. From shows at Carnegie Hall to the Beacon Theater on Broadway to The Auditorium Theater and the Pabst Theater in the Midwest, my musical experiences have brought me to incredible places. No songs with profanity will be used- I will make all edits to be gender neutral so everyone can participate!
