Class Experience
Learners will engage in various aspects of word problems: what is being asked, numbers provided in the text, context clues to help indicate necessary math operations, and checking the answer reached. Slides will be shared to visually reinforce the focus of the lesson and keep learners engaged. Enjoy helping children learn. I served the Director of Ancillary Services tasked with planning and executing summer and winter camps at a PK-12 school. I hold a degree in Psychology and an MBA, a 150-hour master teacher certificate for teaching English as a second language courses and have served as a college counselor for almost 5 years advising students and families on the college acceptance process. I have taught middle school, have been an academic administrator in a Pre-K 12 school and was a founding director of a Learning Center.
