Class Experience

In this course, we will build on the foundational skills of combing like terms and basic algebra vocabulary and work on solving equations. We will begin with one step equations, inverse operations and build on to two and multi-step equations including strategies to solve, direct instruction and group participation. This course will enable students to move on to solving literal equations as well as multi-step inequalities. This class is appropriate for both middle school and early high school...

This class is taught in English.

Students will learn how to apply inverse operations to solve one, two and multi-step equations including those with fractions.

students will be supplied with 10 questions for homework which should take approximately 20-30 minutes to complete.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
