Description
Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
Students will improve communication between peers and their teacher, problem solve, follow instructions, and improve their STEM skills, too!
After the class is over, I will post a fun worksheet provided by Her Interactive that encourages comprehension and critical thinking skills about the game - this is a completely optional worksheet!
Learners will need the game "Nancy Drew - Midnight in Salem" installed on their PC or Mac desktop or laptop computer in order to participate in this class. They will also need to have Discord downloaded to the same device on which they will be playing the game, with an account set-up.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
4 hours 35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
This game is rated for ages 10 and up for mild violence. The premise of the game is an arson mystery that Nancy (the player/student) is trying to solve. Some situations are scary for younger learners, and I encourage all parents to review the game content to assess if their child is ready for the content in the game.
