Description

Class Experience

Join Teacher Alicia on a space adventure learners won't soon forget! Learners will be introduced to our Solar System through slide shows with discussion, crafts, books, work sheets, and hands-on activities. Along the way learners will discover interesting facts about each planet that makes up our solar system, as well as fascinating facts about the Sun, Moon, and stars. This class utilizes reading and comprehension as well as creative writing in fun projects and worksheets. This class even...

This class is taught in English.

Worksheets posted in class to be printed out
One sheet each: black and yellow construction paper
Pens, crayons or colored pencils
Safety scissors (as appropriate for your learner's use)
Glue stick
Pencil

1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

Some of the projects in this class requires the use of scissors. Please supply your learner with safety scissors according to their abilities. Alternatively, prepare cut-outs for projects before specified class time.
