Description
Class Experience
Students interested in climate science, agriculture, and microbiology will enjoy this class. It turns out, there’s more to soil than just dirt! In this two day course, students will become familiar with regenerative agriculture, the carbon cycle, the water cycle, photosynthesis, and current issues relating to the climate. Slides will be shown as we discuss these topics, along with a demo, and two three-minute videos will be played in class. Schedule: Day 1: Students will be re-introduced...
BS Agricultural Science and Education
Students may enjoy using a device that allows them to “annotate” or write on the screen through zoom.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour 40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Scientific terminology will be used throughout the class to discuss soil microbiology, agriculture and the climate.
