Topics covered in this class:
1.  Terminology – software, system software, operating system, utilities, and application software
2.  System software -- boot codes, system software, device drivers, etc.
3.  Types of user interface and their difference
4.  Definition, functions, and kinds of operating systems
5.  System utilities or utility software

This course will help students be more computer literate in knowing what system software and application software are, their functions and examples.

50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
