In this multi-day course, the lesson will demonstrate 2-3 essential life "soft" skills in a fun, interactive presentation and discussion-based atmosphere. Learners will be asked to engage in class discussions, make connections to their own experiences, and relate those experiences to the subject matter. We will discuss career and life-essential topics while exploring analogies and putting our critical skills into perspective. We will navigate further into why these skill topics matter most in today's evolving world. The skill topics we will discuss are; Character & Expression, Communication, Teamwork, Critical Thinking, Leadership, Attitude & Mindset, Time Management, Appearance & Etiquette, and Diversity & Inclusion. Learning Goals
Learners will develop their knowledge and understanding of 9 soft skills topics. Learners will be introduced to practices and theories of soft skills training throughout the course by analyzing data, responding to open-ended questions, and applying their understanding by participating in activities, and learner-led discussions.
